If you bought 100 Great Games for Linux, vol
1 by GlobalStar
software ...
You should ignore the version of XEvil on the CD and download
XEvil from www.xevil.com instead. Don't worry, it's not very big.  The version on Great Games for
Linux is several years out of date. It has XEvil 1.5.5, which
isn't even an official release.
The 2.X versions of XEvil have:
-
All new graphics at twice
the resolution,
-
True client/server network play,
-
New characters, new weapons, new levels of play
-
Improved controls
P.S. I've talked to the people at GlobalStar, and their next CD will have
the newest version. Cool.
